We recently purchased a vehicle from the Honda Crown Hendon branch and would like to commend the outstanding service we received from Angelo Evangelou. He was extremely personable, helpful and clearly very good at his job - we intended only to browse for a few minutes and left a few hours later having put down a deposit on a car we hadn't seen! He followed up all emails and telephone calls promptly and was never once a "pushy car salesman". We cannot fault the service he has given, both pre and post sale, and hope that his excellent work and dedication is recognised.

Dear Mr Dibbs, I am writing with regard to Ram Kanagaratnam. In summary, I came into your showroom a few days ago to test drive a Honda Jazz, as my Toyota Verso had just been written-off in an accident where a car drive into the back of me while I was stationary. I was looking to buy either a Yaris or Jazz, and whilst my preference was definitely to buy a Yaris, felt that I ought to view a Jazz for completeness. The truth is, I am still undecided, but I wanted to write to give my sincere thanks for the professional and courteous manner in which Ram has been guiding me through the decision making process. In every way he has been an outstanding example of salesmanship - discerning, creative, thorough and respectful. I cannot compliment him highly enough, in every way. Dear Ram I feel so sad having to tell you that regretfully we have decided against the Jazz. You worked so well with us, nothing was too much trouble, and throughout you were open and honest and did your absolute best. Please believe me when I say it was nothing you did or said. What actually happened was that when I took you into my Lexus to show you the satnav I suddenly realised just how much I was downsizing, particularly in the luxury extras. I feel really really sorry to have wasted your time and indeed feel terribly guilty for having led you along. It was not intentional and up til the very last minute, I thought we would be happy with the Jazz. As you know, we were genuinely ready to seal the deal and it was a "panic attack" on my part at the last minute. I dont imagine it will be any comfort for you to know that we are not dumping you for a different car. I have decided to keep mine particularly since, as you know, my main objective was to get a smaller car. Yes, I know it was significantly shorter BUT the other thing that spooked me on Saturday was the fact that the width was only a couple of inches either side. Please accept my apologies for taking so much of your time with no result at the end. Very kind regards Toni
